You know, this is the very first Ginta fic I have ever read. It was beyond wonderful. This was such a good story and I can't wait to see the sequal. You did a very good job and I think that you did an excellent job on showing the growing relationship of Ginta and Kagome. I loved how you brought out all of the emotions and that was what drew me into this fic. Again, excellent job.

I'm intrested about 'Willow’s Never Weep', 'cause I'd like to know what happened to Inuyasha afterwards.

Do I have to review every time to read the reviews? I liked it but I reviewed once already.

As much as the fic is interesting with the plotline, it wouldn't happen. Tis not coming down to flame or any such thing, but since you've kept track with the mangas, you know there is much more to them as a social commentary as it is a romance.
Examples follow.
1. The Sess/Rin interactions are a direct social commentary on certain assumptions of Japan's social mores of racial purity.
2. Inuyasha is also a part of Takahashi-sama's views of some of the social structures needing change.
3. Kouga's, and by extention the pack's views of humans and hanyous would have to take a 180 degree turn before Kagome would be truely accepted as one of the pack. The power resides with the pack's alpha female. Also remember that the humans are out breeding the youkai by a large factor. If any youkai bloodlines were to survive, it would have to be by blending with humans. Goes back to numbers 1 and 2 previous.
4. Takahashi-sama's work almost always has a number of major and minor characters to be nothing more than instruments to encourage the main protaganists to realize their worth to each other. In this case, Inu/Kags. In Ranma 1/2, Ranma/Akane. I could go on, but this point is made.
5. Newtype-USA's May '05 issue had Inuyasha as it's cover, and also an interview with Takahashi-sama. Was most interesting indeed. If any alternate pairing had a chance to happen, it would be Inu/Snago after Kagome returned to her time and the plot device (time portal) closed.
It is quite a good story, but an AU rating would be appropriate for it. Maybe some would get off your case about Ginta/Kag pairing then.

Wow Shadowknight, its pretty sad that you would research this crap just for a little story, thats a pretty sad life right there. And plus, I think like 90 percent of the stuff you just listed off is total crap. What are you? The fucking "Fic Nazi" ?The pairing doesn't have to be fucking plausible just to right a story about it. Why waste time writing a fucking laundry list of everything wrong with this fiction when you could be searching the web for a story you actually liked? I have read a lot of the comments bitching about the pairing and I have no idea what is stoping you guys from hitting the "back" button on your computer the minute you found out something about the story that you didn't like. Personally I love this fucking story! Its original and I have never read anything like it and it just kind of pisses me off seeing people go out of their way to put a story down when they could be doing more constructive things with their time. DENIPIE I <3 ALL OF YOUR FICTIONS! DON'T STOP WRITING JUST CUZ OF SOME NEUROTIC ASSHOLES!

One of the more realistic and well written pieces I've read. I will be eagerly awaiting the last chapter. I don't understand why you aren't recieving more reviews, maybe people are wanting smut without plot?

I forgot a few things with regards to this story.
1. Well written with a plot.
2. Good emotional depth that is missing from many alternate pairings.
3. Grammar/spelling is good enough to cover any minor mistakes made, and those that are around are few and far between.
4. After reading my copy of Newtype-USA's feature on Inuyasha, I have been looking at some of the fics with a critical eye. However, it does not mean that I do not enjoy a good alt. pairing. I would like to see another story like this one done, actually, as long as AU is in the rating.
5. The survivor's guilt is called for in the plot. The handling of it is rather off though. The PTSD is also written in, but again a bit off.

Btw, from chapter 1 of this story, it is an AU. Has something to do with who makes, and what is wished for on the Shikon no Tama. No fanfic has gotten it right yet in terms of canon (that I have see so far), even when it is a canon pairing of Inu/Kag. When Takahashi-sama ends the adventure story, who makes a wish and what is wished for is set. I'll not spoil it for other fans who want to wait to the end, but I do know that it will be a letdown to some, and so obvious to others.
I must admit that the slow decent into madness for Kagome and Ginta is handled in a most interesting fashion. Done rather well.

Oklay so far I've read only the first chapter. And after doing so, I have to read more since it's that good.
I first wanted to check this out since the summary sounded good. On reading some of the reviews I found one that I dissagrre with. Anon says that this is a
watse since Ginta is a support charachter and stories are not suppose to be writen about them?? That is pure stupidity.
Fan fiction is that, fiction writen by fans.
It can be about certain situation being handled in a different way such as Kagome turning her back on Inuysha for his two-timing.
It can feature different pairings, such as Kagome/Miroku, Kagome/Ginta or Sango/Inuysha.
Or it can be in a completely different setting, such as everyone is in the modern times.
This anon clearly doesn't grasp the width of fanfiction. I am glad that you haven't stopped writing over one person's closed mind over an alternative pairing and added more chapters.
Excuse me, I need to go read the other chapters.

This is the first time I have seen this story. It just kind of popped up. So, I decided to check it out. I read your reviews, and I am utterly amazed at how closed-minded some people are. I mean to tell someone they are wasting their time writing about a particular pairing is just plain rude and stupid. If you don't like the pairing, then stop reading it. Your review was completely pointless if you say something like that. The author isn't going to say, "damn, you're right," and delete their story just to please you. You may be obsessed with a character, but that doesn't mean you have to include them in each one of your stories. I wrote my inu/kag quota, and now I'm on to different things. It's perfectly normal, and perfectly okay. LIVE A LITTLE!
