I found this story recently and I have to say I'm thoroughly intrigued with how much research and work you have put into weaving this tale. I've discovered an extreme fondness for yaoi recently but most of it seems to be pwp. I love a good story that is told well and the better the plot, the better the story. You have laid down an interesting dilemma for InuYasha with his overwhelming urge to mate ("Rut" not "Heat", thank goodness! "Heat" is for females, not males. You don't know how nutz this has made me while reading many other fics lately.) I applaud Kouga's dilemma too; to submit to the more-powerful inu-hanyou (as degrading it might be to his pride as Alpha in his own right) ultimatly saving the girl they both love. His understanding that InuYasha has distanced himself from his own 'pack' to prevent the probable vicious claiming of Kagome, and since he'd rather not die under the dog's half-insane claws, Kouga does his part to keep InuYasha away from both of their packs by being his "toy" for the nonce. Instinct can be a difficult thing to live with while being a simpler way to look at things at the same time. Live for the now so you may survive to have a future. As for any growing feelings between the two yummy males, all I can say is, "You can't tell your heart whom to love" and as much as it might stick in Kouga's craw to admit it, there are a lot of things to admire about this stubborn and courageous Hanyou who has managed to rise above, not only the low expectations of his diverse heritage, but to surpass those of pure-blood as well, be they Human or Demon. -- Kudos on a well delivered story. I'll be watching.

I really love how deep you've made this plot and I can't wait to read the next chapter. Dude your really good at writing and I would love to see how this story ends. (hopefully it doesn't end 23 chapters long but if it does.YEAH BABY!!)

Kinda makes you wonder how Inuyasha would react if sesshomaru showed up or something and attacked Kouga. ^^ This is my fave Inu fic- only thing that would ruin it for me would be if it ended with them leaving eachother. ;______;

Hi! I really love this story, especially Koga's battle with his own instincts and pride. I can't wait to see what happens when Inu Yasha is back to normal; that would be the greatest moment ever:))) Please continue updating ^_^

OMG!! *eyes go wide* this story.. okay.. now it's wow.. i can't get my mind off how mind blowing it is.. i am so speechless. i have been reading this story for 5 hours straight and that was from 2am this morning and now it's almost 8am! so maybe alittle over 5 hours BUT i could't help it. Every time i would tell myself, I'll finish it later.. I couldn't. My mind was on a roll with what would happen with Inuyasha and Kouga next. For some reason I'm not interested in know one else other then them.. LMAO! i know i am soo horrible! but for some reason their personalities just hit something in me that just said... yummness!!! lol.. and i can't believe that you could come up with something like this! Only one other Author that I have meant that I have love their work as much as this. It has made me cry to have been able to read such mind blowing skills. I am so glad that you wrote this! Once i started reading I just couldn't stop. I can't wait for more. But I will if it means that the next chapter will mean that I'll be filled with mind blowing words from your work!!!!! Your story rocks! I like it when writers make the charaters think about their actions and not just do things. hope you up date soon but for good stories I am always willing to wait.

also, which of them is going to take kagome? i thought this would be a kouga/inu fic... skrew kagome! i'd rather she not be in it at all! but if she is... who gets her? :( i want kog/inu!!!!!!!!! *pout*
