I dunno about the surprise part... I mean, the summary clearly gave away who it was. XD Even if I ignored that hint that it was likely the one paired with him (i.e. Rin), with the other warrior being human, the only likely candidates were Rin, Kagome, Sango and possibly Kohaku (provided he survived). And since the others' preferred weapon of choice were either bows, humongous boomerangs, and sickles, Rin was the only other possibility left.

hey, i'm a big fan of sesshomaru and rin fanfics! but it seems there's just not enough of them out there. i really wish there were. i still understand why there are more kagome and sesshomaru fics then there are sesshoamru and rin. don't anyone know that kagome belongs to inuyasha! anyway, love your story so far. really wish you will continue. i did guess that it was rin cause it can't be inuyasha. u have to keep writting this story cause i don't think i'll be happy until u do.

i just read your fic and its really good I wish to read more please. I was wondering if the other warrior was Naraku or maybe someone who was kin to Rin. Or something like that.... Please continue this story it good for the first chapter really it is...so please don't keep the fans waiting Please update. ^_____^

I SERIOUSLY LOE SESS/RIN AND YEAH I AGREE ABOUT THE WHOLE SESS/KAG THING I just dont get it. Newayz, THIS CHAPTER WAS SERIOUSLY GOOD!!! YOU HAVE TO UPDATE SOON. I knew i had to be Rin, but when he killed her. OMG!! I wanna know what happened?!?!? UPDATE SOON!!! ^_^ Please and Thank You

Thanks so much for mentioning me in your author's notes ^__^ I wholeheartedly agree. There need to be more Sess/Rin fics out there, and it seems that yours is off to a good start. I love a story that sets you down right in the middle of the action, and then works its way back. Happy writing!

Love it, but if your going to trick people about who the warrioress is, you shouldn't mention Rin in your summary, its gives away the surprise ending. But other than that great job! I hate cliffies though, I want an explanation as to why Rin was fighting Sesshomaru. Also another authoress worth mentioning of good S/R fanfics is Scarecrow, she doesn't update as often as you like, but her Heart of Pain/Heart of Ice, is so amazing. That was the first S/R fanfic I've ever read and believe me when I say few fanfics compare to that one.

this is such a good prologue...i can't wait to continue reading...i love reading sess/rin stories and totally agree with you on the too many sess/kag stories and not enough sess/rin...keep writing!!!
