oh sweetie just ignore that person. They obviously don't think enough of themselves to even leave their name or email where you can contact them. I really like you story and think you are doing a wonderful job. That person doesn't look at the date of the fic in the summary? There is a fic on the front page that was updated [2005-09-20] from what I can tell aff.net doesn't change that date unless you "add" a new chapter if you just "edit" and "reload" (I guess) a chapter/s then the date that says "updated" doesn't change but aff.net moves the fic to the top because it is supposed to have "new material" ... I am kind of guessing because I don't post here at aff.net I post at another site. I just read the great stories posted here. I am also going to be honest and say that yes maybe it should have been noted that you were editing the story but there are many, many that don't. I have actually seen stories that are moved up because the author "was" trying to keep it on the front page. Their reasoning is because "nobody looks past the front page" .... I am sorry that authors think that and yes there are probably readers that don't look past the front page heck maybe the authors that think that don't look past the front page. Well I am here to say that many of us readers DO look past the front page as a matter of fact when I find a new site with stories I like I will usually look at ALL the pages unless a site like ff.net has 1000+ pages.

Ok I will get off my soap box now. Please don't let that person bother you too much they can leave notes that insult you, etc but they don't know you and obviously they are a scare like chicken that doesn't like "personal" confrontations since they did't leave a way for you to contact them.

Keep writing I may not review much but I am still reading and believe this is a good story.

PS: there is another story on the front page that says it was updated [2005-08-01] an it got an award too according to the summary and also asking to vote for it. If you look in the reviews there is another "review" from anon for pretty much the same thing they said to you I think anon is a "troll"

I think the flamers just has an over zealous liking of your fiction but hasn’t the maturity or patience to see outside the box of personal wants and greed. Content from flamers (though not wanted, most of the time), do tend to be some of the best reads because hey, if you miss your TV soaps, just go find some poorly written flames around fan fiction websites. It’ll keep you entertained for hours. I’ve read some excellent stories and seen some of the most horrific flames you can imagine. (including use of poorly used and spelled Ebonics, missing words, fragmented and run on sentences, and ranting in so many directions that you just can’t understand what has their panties or briefs in a knot to begin with.)

Moral of the story: so long as one person enjoys your talent, then the talent has not been wasted. Smile dear, it’s contagious… and I’m very sure there’s plenty of us smiling when we read your updates (edited or not ‘^_~).

I agree with your author's note. You can point out disappoint without being an asshole about it. Really, you can HAVE tact while stating what you liked or didn't like. It's called being a grown up, we dont' have to call each other names to state what is on our minds. Let's all try to execise this, maybe. Kudos to you, YM, I enjoyed your story immensely thus far. And it's also plain rude to sling mud while remaining anon-ymous. That's being a coward. If you want to call someone names, I think you should leave contact information so the author has a CHANCE to talk to you about it.

Wow,i have read the first chapter and i have really really liked it,it express Inu Yasha´s feelings for Kagome perfectly(in my opinion).Now i´m gonna read all the others ^_^

Hello!!! It’s been a while since I’ve last reviewed your fic. I read the “A/N” it really got me mad that Anon had flamed you. So this review is just to support you. You are right nobody likes to be insulted also criticism should never lead to hurting people’s feelings. I love your story just as always, It’s great, interesting and different. I think he is short tempered and he should learn how to do proper criticism. We are after all humans and what you did was a simple mistake that I bet he would have committed a thousand times. I understand perfectly and I wasn’t mad because it didn’t say “Editing story”. Also what he said, that you were doing it for attention, is not true. In my case I know I’ve looked your story in pages that believe me, are not at the beginning. I’ve always had an interest in your story and even if I had to look for this fic on page 90 I would. So you definitely don’t need to put your story at the first page “crying for attention” as he put it. That’s all… for now. So once again I’ll say to you, I love your story it’s great. Update as soon as you can no need to hurry…

Wow! Thats some angst there! I really don't see why you had to explain yourself. No author can force us readers to read or review. I enjoy reading fics but I'm not a regular reviewer. I review when I want to. I'm glad there are fic writers like yourself. You are actually way too nice in replying to that flame! Don't bother yourself with it, people like that gets their kicks out of pissing you. I'm sure there are others like me who enjoy your story and doesn't think stupid things like the stupid idiot who flamed you. Just ignore them.

And I can verify your claim about the editing of a post that updates at the
beginning of the list of fics, although I suspect I'm preaching mostly to the
choir.

As for your writing doll, you really truly are wonderful, so please don't pay
any mind to reviewers that use less than the 10% of the 10% of the brains
the rest of us attempt to utilize, don't look at that reviewer again - even
when the temptation arises - and know that you are genuinely loved by
the rest of us..... and the rest of us who read your work do it because we
want to -- not because its' necessarily the 'first' -- though I have to confess,
that it is top-notch and if I haven't said it enough, I apologize.

Don't allow this Anon bedevil and antagonize your self-esteem. You have
reason to be proud of your work and the romance that you have skillfully
entwined into the plot. As for there being 'better authors' out there, it is
a matter of opinion, doll, so don't sell your self short!
