I think one of the unusual aspects about the Sess/Rin relationship is Rin's devotion to Sesshomaru and it always made me wonder if they were to have a relationship beyond protector/ward would it be a loving relationship given that Sesshomaru is a youkai. As for Bill the Surly comments that reviewer seems to have a problem with dark themes i.e. Rape, Abuse, and Etc, and because of that it blows my mind wondering why they are even visiting this site and plus you warned us about it. Excellent as always.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fic, odd ending and all. In fact, I think the odd ending was what I liked best -- certainly a different ending for the two than most portray!

This is abso-fucking-lutely wonderful. The thing I love most about this story is that, even though it contains such a heavy emotional issue like rape -- or at least Sesshomaru thinks it was rape -- you maintained this calm, almost clinical atmosphere, which, with any other character would be stupid, but it's perfect for Sesshomaru. The way he interacts with Rin (speaking, etc.) is so authentic. Somehow, the reader can tell just what his feelings are, even though he never once reveals them during their dialogue. The phrase still waters run deep comes to mind. The way he says "This will never happen again" and things like that is just so realistic. I really have to say, I think this is the best characterization of Sesshomaru I've ever encountered. Not to mention, Rin's blind devotion to Sesshomaru is simultaniously touching and just the least bit disturbing (after all, we're used to independant women like Kagome and Sango), and that contrast adds a totally new dimension to the story. I know this is just fan fiction, but I honestly think that if you could accomplish something like this with an original idea (you know, because of copyrights and all that), you would have a good chance of getting published. Bravo!

I just so love your writing....please don't let the two idiots that knocked your piece get to you.....The first moron must have not read the story, and the other idiot didn't understand the story, and was not a Sess/Rin fan......All the real fans of Sesshomaru and Rin knows that Rin was meant to grown up and become Sesshomaru's mate...................Anyone who doesn't understand that simple logical can go somewhere.......Anyway, I'm a huge fan of your work....please keep the Sess/ Rin coming ...please!!!!!!!!!!!!
