you might want to specify that humans have cracked the Human DNA code (which they've only done partly. they know all the sequences and what not but not what leads to, for examples, some diseases.) just for clarity and realism, you might want to state that they've completely cracked the codes. also, i would suggest boning up on basic chemicals and biology, again just for realism. other then that, it sounds interesting.

I really like the idea since it's so out there and therefore we know that it's never been done. Another thing that I like is that you've kept the characters personality even though your writing an AU (the rubber thing was classic Miroku and gotta love Sango's answer), it's kinda nice being able to read a story where the characters aren't really out of character and doing things that they'd never do.

As for the whole beta thing, they are just people who like your stories and are willing to listen to your ideas...oh yeah and tell you straight out if the idea sucks (which is good 'cause then you don't post a really bad story and make a total ass out of yourself). If you really want someone to read over your stuff I'd be more then willing (you'd just have to deal with my craptacular grammer skills) and my friend DragonBlade would also be willing aswell...hey they say that two heads are better then one..why not try three!! And we'll tell it like it is whether you wanna hear it or not.
