After this chapter, and the tension that has been steadily building from the very beginning, I finally felt that I needed to pay my respects to you and this marvelous work of art. Your story-telling skills are exceptional and your characterization is believable and un-rushed. The length of each chapter and the story as a whole are enough to sustain interest and actually build upon previous chapters. They are also not so long that it takes several hours to read, something I can certainly appreciate with my busy schedule. ^_^
I have no problem admitting that of all the stories in my favorites, this one ranks as number one and is the only one I check on a regular basis for updates. I congratulate you for holding my attention so firmly over such a stretch of time and entertaining me with your words. Know that I am and will continue to look forward to any and all future chapters. Give yourself a round of applause, my dear. You deserve it!

Yay! Fluffy and Kagura are mates! HA! Take that you slimey bastard!!! :-) This chapter had me screaming my head off at Inuyasha to *do* something. Hehehe Naraku is so gonna die. Keep up the good work. I'm waiting with baited breath for the next chapter.

12 AM...ish
I started SCREAMING when I saw you updated on the first page. My blanket is in my lap, it aided in muffling my squeals. Thank you! I've been dying for an update!
Now I just can't wait for the reunion of Inuyasha and Kagome. I mean, this chapter was amazing! I'm so proud of how well Kagome acted. Naraku got underminded! Yeah, Naraku is gonna get his ass handed to him. :P Oh, I can't wait! And, oh, I got a real kick out of the Sesshoumaru's mate claim over Kagura, and how she responded. Who honestly didn't? And while I was reading, I realised something...It looks like we are getting close to the end of this story. It can't be! This story cannot end soon! What'll I do when your completed, oh glorious Dog Skin (read it over and over again, most likely...)? I won't be able to wait around for you to be upadated, day in and day out. Oh, cruel world! ^_^
I apoligize for not reposting my review for the last chapter. I don't know, I guess I really didn't want to write a whole new review after the last one got erased.
And, hello! I found something interesting just now. I was reading through lots of your reviews and I found one by Xaenthe, saying how she read your story because it was mentioned in one of her reviews. Now, I tend to do that quite a lot (express in my review the joy of another fic being updated), and I remember doing so with your fic, and since I love Xeanthe's stories, I grew suspicious. So, I checked the date on her review, went to "My Little Pony," found a review of mine that fit the date and I do believe it is I who she was talking about (The start of the review is exactly what Xaenthe described). I also found joy when I read your review for her story, where you had your own opinion on who it was. Gasp! It's a conspiracy! A conspiracy by the lovely sublimetrickster & fantastic Xaenthe! Haha. But, could you confirm if my suspicions are correct? I'd like to find out...for no reason. ^_^ (You should have seen it when I read both of your reviews. I broke out into fangirlish giggles and gushes and a huge happy grin was plastered on my face. Seriously. It wouldn't come off. "I'm acknowledged! I'm known! Sort of! Weee!") :)
And during my review reading, people kept mentioning a certain fairy tale this is based off of. It seems a bit familiar (the TINIEST bit), but could you enlighten me please? I'd like to sooth my muse. Sounded almost like Kaguya-hime's, just because of the requests Kagome made. But it sounds like a very interesting fairy tale, one I would like to indulge in. ^_^ I've always loved fairy tales. :D
Well, considering the time, (It's almost 3:00 AM now, and it was, like, 11 or 12:14 when I started writing this. Ah, no, I was done the chapter around 12 something, and I began the start of the review at, like, 11:39. have you ever read a story called coat of rushes? it is a cinderella story, but much simmilar to yours. basically, there is a king with three dauthers, and he asks them to display his lov for him, and the youngest belive removes the sat from his food, and tells him that she loves him as much as the salt....sort of, and so she ends up having to work in the kitchens, somewhere else, i cant quite remember how exactly, for the outrage and disgrace the king took from that, though she meant only the best. and she makes herself a coat made of rushes and wears it always. and i cant quite remeber the rest exactly, except something about a fairy, and three beautiful gowns, and balls, and yeah, well then she ends up making the food for the king, and she removes the salt, and obviousley he realises that she how much she loved him, and that is what she was trying to convey with the salt thing, and yea, they live happily ever after. anyway, it is extremely simmilar to your story, and i was just wondering if that is where you had gotte the insperation for it? well, whatever, i like your story very much, it is actually 2L49 in the morning, i was so enthralled by your story, i couldnt stop, and i thik that it is quite certain my parents will kill me if they find out *yikes!* so yeah, good job! cant wait for more!
