I see what you ment by taking off in another direction! So glad to see this updated, as it is one of my most favorite ongoing stories. So may twists, turns, and battles on many different plains, it's always a great suprise to read.

I have read all 38 chapters here, and just have to put my 2 cents in. Now this is a fic that more than deserves the nomination it recieved. Powerful, moving, and suspends disbelief so fully that one would think that Takahashi-sama wrote it herself. OOCness in the fic? Not much that I have seen at all, if any. Impressive emotional depth, and the manner in which it is presented is right on the money. It is great to see that the lemon sections are seamlessly woven into the plot rather than vice-versa as with so many other stories. Were I a writer (I have tried my hand over the years, and know my limitations.) I could only aspire to the quality that I see in this work.

I have read many a great author (From Plato to Shakespere to David Weber), and I believe that you could write an original work all your own and have it sell.

This is a compelling read, and I am just waiting for more after chapter 38.

Wow!!! This chapter completely threw me for a loop!!! I guess since the jewel is "the jewel of four souls" there should have been another one soul there somewhere. I just didn't think it was "that" one. Will Inuyasha's mother show up too? This is a great story update again soon

That was a very interesting story. I enjoyed every chapter, especially the one where the 'Nightwalkers' leader gets exactly what he deserves. What a bastard! Maybe you should do a side story on how Shinichi and his lesser lords enjoy the new 'pet'. Keep up the good work.

OMG!!! I totally love this story!! It has everything that I like. You make the reader really see and experience what is happening in this story. I really like that you made Hakkaku and Ginta more formidable. I'm kinda sick of seeing them portrayed as week. I liked the chapters on the hunt, you brought a tear to my eye with the descriptions of the joshi and what they had been through. I really like that part about turning the leader into a female, such twisted humor :). I am positively loving this story and your style of writing. I hope that you post more chapters. AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!! Please update SOON! I'm going to wear out my 'puter checking for updates on a regular basis now - as well as have to deal with the angst and indigestion I've gotten from things just DANGLING here!!! I don't think they make a Prilosec big enough to control it this time (J/K). Seriously, though, this is, and has been, an extremely powerful story ... I've been on pins and needles throughout .... and the suspense is going to eat at me until we get to the last chapter. I'd say that speaks rather highly of your skill as a writer - the ability to weave all the various loose threads together, even right to the very end with the Shikon no Tama itself, and to do it with the characters still mostly IN character - you DO need to consider doing this for a living!!!! Thank you so much for updating and relieving some of the boredom of an otherwise dreary day!
