This is a beautiful and terrible story, I had the luck of having a high school history class where Vietnam vets came to talk to us about their experiences. I know a man who was once a boy called 'Animal' he spoke of many boys he knew that never came home. He had some slides and he showed us many pictures of smiling, happy young men, I can imagine such an inccident occuring to someone waiting for one of those faces.
You wrote a beautiful story, it makes my heart ache and I hope we do not suffer as we did then. I pray everyone who reads this remembers what we lost fighting for freedom. Those boys believed in what they fought for as do the ones fighting now, they deserve our respect and if ANYONE dares mock this story or those soldiers I hope you remember the reason you have freedom of speech is because of the blood of those brave enough to die.

;.; This was so sad.... it made me depressed and I nearly cried. I downloaded the song after I read it. War's are so depressing...I don't understand how people can stand it. It's so meaningless now. Continue to write. This was amazingly depressing but meaningful for me and I bet a lot of others, if they read it and didn't know the characters were off an anime, they'd think it was wonderful............IT'S SO SAD!!!!

I love this story very much and I hope you continue composing outstanding stories, such as this one. It really touched my heart and even made me cry, the way you incorperated the War, love and a songfic makes me want to read it over and over again. Once more I would like to say thank for such a touching and heart felt story. Its writers like you that makes reading fanfiction all worth while.

i like your story alot. it actually made me cry. and i must say that is a hard feat to come by now adays. your story is truly touching to those who have been in war and in many ways those who haven't. your story is really really well done and i like it alot.

That made me cry. It was truly a well written love story. It remindes me of my sister, and her guy off in the war in Irqua. He ask her to marry him before he left. Haven't herd from him in a while. But i hope he comes home. Its strage ya know, how thease things happen. Once again this is a wonderful story. And thank you for writing it and sharing it with all of us. ja ne!
