I liked your idea on this story. I am happy that in this little nook of the universe Kaede got to have a fun little fling with an attractive guy. Kaede gets overlooked in the world of fanficdom so it was nice to see you giving her some of the spotlight. Her thoughts of her family, Kikyo specifically, were well-placed. Good times!

at the end when you said it was a SesshoumaruxKaede pairing i was: WTF? How? And then i reread your summary and was like: Oh. [thought it was 40yrs. after. go me.]

Ohhh, what a wonderful story. Truly beautiful. I'm so happy to see that there are more that dare to prospect the uncharted paths of alternative pairings.

Very interesting story, i'm also working on a fic about young Kaede with someone... this gave me the final inspiration i needed, of course i won't use your idea or anything, i'm just saying that this gave me the kick i needed.

If you're ever curios to see it, it should be out in a day or two and it's titled "Love born in Death". Excellent fic by the way, i've read two other stories about young Kaede with Sesshoumaru before and this one was really good! Keep it up, you're a good writer!

I loved it! It was awesome! ^_^ I never in my life thought of SessxKaede, and believe me, I am the queen of thinking up weird pairings xD At first I thought it was Kagome, and then Inuyasha in the cave. Then when you said "Her left eye had a patch over it..." I instantly knew it was Kaede, and when you put "After all, her sister had pinned his brother to a tree." it all just came together =P But yet again, it was awesome, great job!

I liked this story. It was very creative, in a way I could never possibly think. Keep up the good work, because people are stupid. Keep that crative mind at work, this story was beatiful.

i did like it very much and the idiot who said that he didn't like the pairing of the "old hag" and sessho, is just that, an idiot. u say in your summary that it is forty years before kagome met inuyasha and so kaede would be a sweet young woman. i love the way u portrayed Kaede and u seemed to capture a girl on the brink of womanhood. u did a superb job with this fic and do not take offence that not many review. its all to do with aff, most ppl. do not review b/c they read and leave. end of story. but keep up the good work in other stories. (seeing as ths a s a one shot i s ask ask u to write more. god i hate when ppl say that and u told them from the beginning its a one shot.)

Holy fart, what a good lemon, Fair! And I absolutely loved the ending...wonder now if Sessy would ever recognise Kaede now that she is grey-haired and "old". :) Good job!
