Apparently, people don't like fics that make you think. To defend the idea... what Andi is saying is that Rin is the reincarnation of Kikyou fifty years after her death. Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyou five hundred years after her death. Some of you rebuffed it as if it weren't possible. She can't really say that was what Takahashi-sama was leaning towards that, but she had a great idea. I was completely titlated by the original idea. Why? Because only a few great minds would have actually thinked of something like that. Steering a possible unimportant character and linking her to the main character. And if you really open your mind, clearing it of these cheesy ships, and read the damn story for what it is you would enjoy it.
Andi-- you know what I think. I loved it. I hope you're not going to end it there and finish it as planned.

I have to say I am rather discusted with some of the Reviews on here. It is absolutly pathetic that people whine and cry about "Pairings" When they know a daa damned fact that this is the world of fanfiction, where anything and everything can and does happen.
Cannon pairings mean absolutly jack shit, and if you don't like a pairing, then for the sake of Art don't sit here and complaine! You have no right too!
This is a place for reviews, a place for people to review the work. This is not a place to express your personal dislike for a certain thing. That is not a review, that is a selfish comment.
This set of works is magnificantly writen. Not only does the author manage to keep people in character, but she wrote so vividly that it was like I was there. I should smell the winter air, I could feel the coolness of the night. When an Author of any calibur has the gift to take someone into a universe and make it seem extrodinaraly real that author deserves the highest praise. It is still amazing to me that one single work can have such an impact. It is unique and very belivable, but it could also become a stand alone. All she would have to do to make the story compleatly her's would be to change the characters names. Then it would be more then worthy of publishing.
It is astounding to me how low people are willing to steap to make themselfs feel all that much better. It is a sad thing that people have to think that way at all.
Keep up the extrodinary work, And don't let these pompus pricks get the better of you. You are better then them. If they need to get their jollys off of belittleing another person that's their bag, don't let it affect you or your creativity becuase it is a gift so rarely found and I am one of the few who is fortunate enough to enjoy it.

Unforunately it doesn't make any sense, Kagome is the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyou so your. Rin was after Kikyou time. If you are going to write Inuyasha in the Canon timeline please make sure to get the facts right.

~.~ *twitch sigh* You know... I agree with some of the earlier reviews. Not the unmagnified ones that are crying about something they have no right to complain about; I agree with the people that adore this story for it's twists and creativity. Not one point doesn't flow well, and everything is written so poetically clear that anyone can picture the setting and characters. Everyone is kept in character to the best of any fan fiction writer's ability (unless the show has actual hentai in it, it's hard ay jay just what will happen). What ever might come, I'll keep reading if nothinre bre but for the sheer skill expressed in this story.
If you don't like the pairings or hints of pairings to come, then don't complain about it. It's a STORY written by the AUTHOR, not by the popular vote of readers. Your complaints just make you sound whiny and unintelligent.

I am confused, How can Kagome have to different souls because in the anime and manga she shares Kikyo's soul and that allowed her to carry the Shikon No Tama. I thought your first two chapters were great but thnal nal one was thrown together just to bring it to a ending. How can ka fro from loving Inuyasha to butting uglies with Sesshomaru and discover she has rin soul.
Just my two cents do with them what you wish but this fanfiction becomes quite unbelievable when you disregard a very important part of the manga and anime just to throw a story even it is for a challenge because I would call this one a failure.

im sooo confused...is this a rin/sess or going to become a kag/sess? oh plz dont do that....cant u make it so that sess finds rins reincarnation, like kikou and kagome, in the modern era? PLEASE consider it or give warning to when it becomes *shudders* kag and sess pairing
