just had to say that this story is good. I liked the longness of it and I wish more stories could be that long cuz then it'd take me awhile to get through them

I just reviewed Tales From The House of Moon, and I felt it was only right that I review this one as well. This was the first story of yours I ever read. I was a fan right from the start. I loved this story so much that I specifically sought out your other works. Great job! I've read a lot of fanfiction, and above all you are one of my favorites.

I read this story on media miner when you posted a link a few weeks ago. I have to say, you've left me shivering and stunned. Having written a modern era fic myself I thought I would check this out, I guess to compare. No comparison. This was haunting, captivating, with just the right amount of backstory to balance the newfound relationship. You were so IC it makes my teeth hurt. You have achieved what I strive for. You are the buddah to my zen of IC. I have learned from you and I respect that greatly. Your fic has been the first I've read in over a year, feeling very tired of fanfiction altogether. Inspired by you I am writing again. Thank you, thank you. You are a great writer and I hope to see more from you. I also hope to see more of you around mediaminer forums. I love speak with people I can learn from. Shit, you should write a fic about HOW to write a fic. I could go on forever but I will leave you, hopefully, to your writing.

It occured to me that you show us what the past truly is and the damage it can do to our lives if we dwell on it too frequently. You show us what living in the past is and how it can hurt our ability to live in the future. Who are you to have so much wisdom/insight. How old are you? So intelligent and able to express so eloquently what some of us realize in some small part of our brain, but are unable to bring into view in such a way that it can be truly meaningful. You truly amaze me.

This is a truly excellent story. The writing style flows. You give us pictures, not just words. Such sadness and angst. Even under the happier moments, there is a visible current of loneliness almost to the point of despair. You took the time to allow us to get to know the characters. I like how you gave Sesshoumaru insight into Kagome's needs. I guess the answer that Sesshoumaru had given Kagome at the end of the story was that he had been courting her. Am I correct? The lemons were absolutely wonderful, not mechanical or completely emotional. There was an intensity of desire. It was very fulfilling. The small touches and glances were enthralling. Sesshoumaru seemed to know what would seduce Kagome and to have taken measured and calculated steps to do so. I read the story more than once and most likely will do so again. So, he fell in love with her on the side of a mountain. That tugged my heart strings. His casual voicing of deep truths that many of us do not even consider was very interesting as was his character.

Kagome's character was sad indeed. She tends to have problems with keeping her hope alive. Of course, her experiences didn't helped very much. It was refreshing that you didn't make her a virgin and you didn't make an allowance for her to live as long as Sesshoumaru. It was heartening at the end that she had finally taken the reigns of her own heart or at least had determined to do so and that Sess revealed that he loved her.

It was a lovely fic that I'm sure I will enjoy time and time again.

Six-thirty in the morning and I've been reading your stories for hours and hours. A simple story has never moved me this much. I don't know what of the pain, the love, or the utter torment had by these two people (not characters: you gave them life) moved me the most, but your words have definitely left an impression.
