There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe the beauty of this fic. More than just a fanfic, it tells a classic tale of redemption and love. Kagome's sadness is permeable and Sesshomaru's surprising unintrusiveness and ability to say so much with so few words is thought-provoking. It's good that the story is told strictly from Kagome's point of view... it makes her humanity tangible and her growth believeable. Their sexual encounters seem to happen without much prompting. They just happen and never need to explain themselves. Best of all they just happen without a seeming purpose, even though they DO have purpose. Though we never see things through Sesshomaru's eyes, we can see the subtle way Kagome is changing him although at times he does come off as rather static. But that makes sense for he is a long-lived creature in a world he can only watch go by. Kagome is just another person who will come and go in his life yet he stays with her out of his own free choosing. It turns out in the end, he is also someone looking for forgiveness in his life. But you know what is really amazing? You managed to make a Kagome/Sesshomaru romance believeable and I'm not even a fan of that pairing! But a pairing isn't really what makes a fic great is it? It's the storyteller and you, for one, have accomplished that in spades. Thank you for writing this.

I've never read a story quite like this one, however, I found it strangely enchanting and I couldn't stop myself from reading it, dispite my burning eyes. You're an amazing author, you did very well in your discriptions of the characters, settings, actions, feelings, and everything else that you happend to mention in the story. I loved this story, it was simply addicting and fulfilling, beautiful and honest, as well as containing aspects that I would have never considered possible when putting situations into words. I applaude your writing abilites as well as this story, how I wish that it would never end. Thank-you for such a wonderful distraction from the real world, you have no idea how much I absolutly enjoyed it.
