I was truly blindsided by this one. Saw three chapters and thought, "Oh! How nice! A bit of light reading." Boy was I wrong! Lol. Your chapters are nearly as long as most stories.

Well, on to the review. It was truly wondurful. The bits of humor and fluff just give that wonderful tease that's needed in dark stories like this. You truly have a gift. Beautiful tale and your characterization of Sesshomaru is spot on! He's so difficult to write for. Love this story!

Reading this story was partly like Kagome drinking that whiskey-painful but impossibly needed-; partly like Sesshomaru knowing things end and moving into acceptence (maybe far too early...)

It was hard to read, perfect, a clean cut straight to the soul. It's left an impression, ow, but no regrets. Sleep lost, something more gained (?)

Thank you for the progression. My eyes are still blind but this story is either sweet guidance or questionable divergance. I hope you will continue to write.

This story and "House Of The Moon" are (one) of the best FFNs I've ever read.
Thank you.

Wow... that was perhaps the best story of yours that I have read so far. I'm currently reading both parts of HotM (here and FF), but I'd thought I'd do some "light reading" in between.

I found myself going thru all the emotions described in this story along with the characters. You truly have a gift! I can only hope to be as good a writer as you. :)

I just... admire, for lack of a better word, your characterization of Sesshoumaru. Who, or what, was your inspiration behind him? He is my favorite character, with Inuyasha being a (very) close second.

I can only hope, again, that after trying my hand at weaving tales of offshoots and possible what if's of the series and manga, I can be a writer as wonderful as you.

If you have a chance, please feel free to pop over to FF and glance at my work-in-progress, titled "Death on the New Moon". It's a crossover story; I figured I'd start off with someone that I'm more familiar with, and stick them into the "Inuyasha story blender", and hit 'mix'! It's been an interesting ride so far!

Again, thank you for the myriad of emotions that I've encountered while reading your stories, and I mean that in the most sincerest of sense. They (your stories) are what has been inspiring me to keep at mine when I run into blocks. They have been the drive to keep it and myself going when I've wanted just to set it down and forget about it. But the Muses, both living in the form of friends and mythological, refuse me to do so. So, I turned to others' work to gather ideas on "Just how did they do it?", and have found new sparks.

You are one of my favorite writers. Never change, and never quit.

Brightest Blessings,
~* Lady AM *~

This was such a beautiful story. It was so painful to read, but you did a wonderful job of capturing the hopelessness that Kagome would be feeling. I had to walk away for a while before I could actually write this review because there are some many things I want to say about it. Lol. Since I can't seem to find the words, even after two hours of contemplation, I'll simply say it was bittersweet and I loved it. =)

I agree with the previous 2 reviews this story was absolutely amazing and beautifully written. I found myself lost in the world you created, my heartbreak as Kagome's did and I wanted to cry for the loneliness that Sesshoumaru felt, since he would not. You are extremely talented at portaying your thoughts clearly so they are easy to follow and enjoy for your readers. keep up the good work.

Absolutely beautifully writting. There are a lot of things in your style, technique, and skill that I envy completely as a writer. Everything was very believable and you stayed true to the characters and also the possibility of what it would feel like when the adventure was over. You had me crying at some points but it wasn't always completely heavy either, there were certainly a couple of points where I was chuckling to myself. All in all, I couldn't seem to tear myself away. I actually read until 5 AM this morning before making myself go to bed about halfway through part three. I can't remember when I started it, but I know I could hardly stop. Excellent work, if you don't already, you should consider trying some original work, I mean other than fanfiction. You have a lot of talent.

Ack, how embarrassing. The first line of my last post should have been "Absolutely beautifully written." Teaches me what happens when you don't proof read.

Your stories stir emotions within me, as if they speak to me. Which they kind of do, when I read them aloud. Teehee. Anyways, your writings are breath taking and are very true to their characters and how things would really take place. Sesshou's acceptance of things come and go are truthful and rather understandable living as long as he does,will..etc. Anyways just wanted to say... in you know lamens terms. YOUR STORIES ARE DAH BOMB YO!! Teehee
