Terrific chapter, I agree, taking the extra chapter was a good move... you have managed to implement tension with comedy in moments very well.. thank you for NOT leaving it at the gun to her head :) this ending is good too :)

Um... I think some of your story was deleted or something.... Like this paragraph :
Kagome nervously took a sip of her lemonade, trying to hide the tears that were threatening to fall. The hospital… “When I woke up, I was really disoriented. Then I heard someone say he-he was Souta…I thought I was dead and he had come to help me cross over.” A tear escaped her eyes. “When I saw the man talking was not a little boy, I realized something was w. “I could have gotten her to confide in me…I know she wants to tell someone… to ask for help, but she doesn’t know who she can trust.”
Is there something missing from it?? And the two chapters before it... seemed to end quickly... the second one where Sesshoumaru stated that Sango gets paid more then myouga and then said her name. Is that the real ending to the chapter or is my computer not loading it all the way up. Im not complaning about it... I just noticed that your other chapters are longer then the first two and I wondered if my pc wasnt loading them up.

Great chapter, as always. I feel so bad for Miroku after reading this, you showed how he really does have a deeper side to him. I'm a little confused though - did his first love die because of those terrorist who want to kill him, or is it some conncetion with his cursed hand it' it's the former, then why didn't they just kill him instead? I agree, where ARE all the nice (straight) guys?? They have to exist, righ??? Sometimes it feels like all the decent guys are dating each other, doesn't it? Which leaves us girls with....well...let's not go into what kind of guys we're left with, hm?
