Rushed to read the minute you told me this was updated (which I really appreciate, thanks :) ). As to Kikyo's character, I haven't seen any of those really later episodes to judge, though I do believe she isn't as cold and heartless as she normally seems, simply because there is part of Kagome's soul in her. So to me, it was definitely a possibility for her to act that way. I love, too, how you captured the emotion of that moment.

I think the best part of the InuYasha/Kagome half of the chapter is how he was willing to wait for the human ritual of marriage before mating. Heh. The image of how shocked he must've been when Kagome just asked "When do we mate?" - someone should do a picture of that. I would, if I were a better artist with the InuYasha characters, but I've only just started with fanart.

If you need a break, especially with the emotional stree you must be enduring, as well as the writing, take it. (and remember, I'm only suggesting). I'm sure your other readers will agree with me, that we can wait.

And wow...my internet was down for a while, which is why I haven't been making my usual short comments, lol, but it's working again finally and wow...these last few chapters were simply amazing.

My thoughts are with you and your family... I will wait in patient, yet anxious, anticipation to find out what happened with Kagome and Kikyo!!!

I wrote you an email, Jen, in response to yours, but I didn't read this before, so I didn't know about your grandfather then...I'm sorry. It sounds lame to say that...when there's really nothing to say but hope and pray and Believe everything will be okay.

hi, I'm sorry about your week being so bad. I hope your grandfather gets better. Don't force yourself to work on a chapter if you have family affairs to attend to. Even though I love reading new chapters, you take as much time as you need to get your own problems worked out.
