Oh. My. Gosh. I feel as if I must burst into tears. I LOVE THIS FIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was so magnificently well done. Rarely have I read a fic that has had such a great effect on me. Sublimetrickster, you are an effing goddess (or god, I'm sorry I didn't check your profile before I wrote this). Let it bown own to all that "Red Riding Haori" is a masterful work of genious!!!!!!!!

Was kinda wary of reading this, but it's better than I thought it would be. I was surfing arounf on Deviant Art and saw your stuff and really liked it... so I thought I'd read your story as well. It's good. Hope you update soon.

I've been reading this on mm.org and couldn't pass up the opportunity to review here!
This has got to be one of the best Inuyasha style fairy tales I've read! For whatever reason, I had never thought of "Little Red Riding Hood" with the Inuyasha characters...but really, it fits so perfectly..down to the red haori/hood that Kagome ends up wearing!
I'm glad that our hero has saved Little Red...but I don't want Inuyasha to think that giving her up will be what's best for Ka.

Kouga's attempted rape of Kagome should have opened her eyes to her feelings about Inuyasha...not that I'm downplaying her trauma...but I mean, she must recognize that instead of Kouga or someone else, she'd want to be with Inuyasha that way.
The only reason I say this is cuz up to now, it's clear that Inu is interested in Kagome...and has thought about possibly asking her to be his mate....but it's unclear if Kagome sees him beyond being a friend who meets hy thy the well. There's been no mention of the depths of her feelings for him...be they attraction or love...beyond the fact that she feels safe and protected by him.

Interesting plot, intriguing way of keeping the characters IC, and slowly drawing to a happy ending...A very well written and thought out InuYasha fanfic if I do say so myself. I hope to see more from you in the future. Fairy Tales are normally hard to do with characters being accurate. You have a true talent with it. Perhaps try something like Cinderella for another lemon or maybe The Little Mermaid.

I agree 100% with the last 3 reviewers - this story is _fantastic_. AFF's been down for a while recently - this has to be the explanation why this is only the 4th review so far, 'cause your story has so much going for it. It's original without anyone being very OOC, well written and formatted, and the plot is making me anxious to read more. Keep up the writing! ^-^
