she need to be reintroduced to youkai society and recognized as the eastern heir. they could have a ball or meeting of just the main lords. of course sesshou would know first as he will know who the earstern lords daughter is before she knows who her betrothed is. perhaps he could corner her before it is announced and talk to her or have her find out in front of everyone.
