I liked the alternate ending better. I much prefer Kagome realizing for herself that he had already shown her that he loved her than him having to do something to prove his love. While the wisdom-dispensing cabby was a bit much, sometimes it takes the viewpoint of a stranger to help see things from a different perspective.
By the way, this story was unbelievably amazing.
I don't even have the words.
I laughed, I cried, I stayed up til 2 in the morning when I had to get up at 6 the next morning (and I'm too old for that) because I couldn't stop reading it!
Then, knowing that they track our internet usage at work and that the site "adultfan.nexcess.net" would set off alarms in our IT department, I STILL went to the website during my breaks to finish up the story.
I hope to read future work by you.

First of all, I love the epilogue! Inuyasha's interaction with the boys was absolutely adorable, and I love the little sort of overview of where everyone else is in life.
As for the alternate ending, I think I'd have to say I prefer the second one to the original. There were a couple of minor things that just didn't seem to sit right in the first one (like the part in the office, when Sesshy wanted Kag to hide behind the curtains, but she refused. It sort of felt like "then what was the point of her being there again?"), and the second ran a bit smoother in my opinion. The only criticisms I have for the second version are that I would have embellished just a tiny bit more in at the very end (it's slightly abrupt as is), and that I would have smoothed out Kagome's realization that she wanted to forgive Inu (whics sls slightly abrupt as well) -- but those are minor details. Overall, it's great!

Great story! I definitely like this alternative ending better the the other one, mostly because it's more plausible for Kagome to find Inuyasha at the mansion, rather than the park. Keep up the writing, I'll be waiting for the new story!

WOW! This is such a good story! I loved it from being to end! I hope you do a fallow up story but if you don't its ok, anyway this is great!
