I realy love this story. Your portray Seshoumaru so differently than what I could read in others fics, but so realistically!
thatthat blend of romance and angst is really setting an eery mood.
I guess I'm nit-picking there, but I would like to point that heat, the fertile period when the female scent is attractive, is actually before the bleeding. The bleeding is the result of an unsuccessful heat where the body undo it's preparations for pregnancy and start a new cycle. For humans, the bleeding happens about 14 days after ovulation. I'm not sure for us because we've lost the use of our nose, but I do know that for cats, the scent will get increasyngly stronger during the first days, then gradually fade, all in about a week and a half. Some women that learned to be perfectly in tune with their bodies have reported a noticeable increase in libido of two to three days in the middle of their cycle, wich would correspond to their fertile time.
Plus, the scent during the bleeding is an effective repulsive to males.
Anyway, wouldn't it be better for your story if there were no blood in the way?
Well... I don't mean to aggravate yor tor to say you should rewrite that chapter. I just wanted you to know so you can decide how you'll write those heat concept next time. More often than not, people get this wrong and as a scientist, I can't help but explain *sheepishly looking at the mod of fans shouting to mind my own business*
oh well... Write more! I want to see where this is going!

This is a VERY good fic. I love the idea, the plot and all of the drama and angst.... I'm soooo damn glad someone out there knows how to write Sesshomaru, I'm happy that you have kept him to character and added to him. Don't worry about loosing readers, cause you just gained one here.

I loathe pregnancy fics, unless it's an AU and it actually works with the plot, and doesn't complicate it. Update soon!

Good chapter, I love the way you portray your characters and their situation just breaks my heart. I can't help feeling sorry for Kagome.

I read your comment at the beginning of chapter 18 and I just wanted to let you know that I wasn't the least bit 'put off' by chapter 17. Although I do remember my first thought after reading the author's not at the end went something like, "…and haou eou ever sought professional help for that?" Oops, did I say… errr… I mean ummm type that out loud? Ahhh ummm Just Kidding! Really!
No Really, I have been following your story since you put the first chapter up and I love it. It's so very different than most, well actually all, of the other Sesshoumaru and Kagome stories I've read. It just seems so much more realistic than most others. It's too bad this story wasn't out in time for 'A Single Sparks' annual fanfiction awards I would have definitely nominated your story for the best portrayal of Sesshoumaru category (and possibly several others) because in my opinion No one has come even close to doing as good a job realistically portraying charcharacter as you have.
I would also like to compliment you on how quickly and regularly you update your story. As a dedicated fanfiction junky I am deeply grateful to you for the 'fixes' I derive from your story. Yeah… And I was saying what? About someone seeking professional help….? Anyway….. I think I gotta go read something or something like that now. Keep up the Great work and I can't wait to read the rest!

i really like your story ...... and belive me when i say i realy dont write reviews all that often , when i read other ppls storys. but your was more expacting : what i mean by that is when i get to my computer i hope to read another chapter of your story to see how far you can go with the your thoughts and your crative side about the story. in my opinon your flight has just begun ^_^
