I love this story soo much, and i am glad there will be a sequel. OMG (i never EVER use this) but for now it is the appropriate time, because i like this story sooo much'm d'm ditelitely glad that i found this.

That was wonderful, now I'm too excited for the last chapter, but Im so terribly saddened its going to be ending.
And you portray Sess so well....*fan girl sigh* If only he were real.
About there being no futons. I agree. THe four poster bed and the silk sheets by the fire place... beautiful and it helped set the scene, and I feel you can toss minor historical details if necessary to further develop your story and give it the feeling -you- the author want, especially since you are the one writing the story, and we are the ones who are grateful to you for creating this for us.
As soon as I get the money for the paper, I'm going to print this entire thing out and get a biiiiig hole puncher. I'd like to read this off comp too :o

i dunnoe how to say this.. so ill say it rite out.. ur one HELL of a writer! hehe i never had my heart ahe that much in the first chap. and im actually done with "in a different light" but.. im starting "bitter blood" now so :p ty so vm for all the efforts becuz it really is paying off adultff is the only place i read disclaimers now becuz of the writers :) and i am hopeing for more writers like urself or jeffs who is also a great writer gl with the rest of ur future stories :D

FINALLY!!!! woohoo!!!! That was a tasteful and passionate and wonderful scene. :-D Now I just have to calm myself down while I wait the day and a half untill I get to see my fiance again... It's been over six months since the last time I got to see him.
Anyway, as I'm sure I've written several times, the story is great. And I like that approach to Master Li's teachings, the idea that their love is natural and therefore right even though he's not human. When one is in love, one tries to be the best possible person for the one they love and so love brings one closer to enlightenment. Love, even when tinged with lust, is a positive emotion. Or at least I see it that way.
I'm also very glad that you decided to go against the whole reincarnation thing with Rin and Sessh, although it seems to be popular with some people. Not that I don't find the idea facinating, but I want Rin to be Rin, not her 5th reincarnation that sessh just happened to find and asked to abandon her life as she knew it before. I'm ok with the Inuyasha/Kagome thing because he makes it quite clear he's aware she's NOT Kikyou. Were Rin to have agreed to the first type of bond he would have been... it would have been unfair, to say the least. Reincarnations are NOT the same as the person they were in their past life, they are the next step in the cosmic evolution of a soul.

Anyway... the mark she gave him... :-D Why did you pick a rose? Not that I'm complaining! It's cool. Hell, I've got a rose tattoo myself, still somewhat sore actually, fiance hasn't seen it yet. ;-D Anyway, for some reason it somehow doesn't seem to fit quite right with Sesshomaru... and yet it does. Can you give me some insight as to why you picked a rose?

That was soooooo good. Well, worth the wait. (Can't believe I needed a tissue) Keeps getting better and better. This may be the only story of this length, that each and every chapter is a delight to read. I don't want it to end but I can't wao reo read your next masterpiece.
