damn that was BEAUTIFUL!
the way you explain everything is informative and beneficial. It wasnt just meaningless sex, it was soul searching, soul bonding and with the pros of of making babies/pups with love. Great explaination of the 3 reasons of the mating mark, that made a lot of sense. Also, when he started to call her a bitch I was shocked. Yea, I knew that was the female dog's name, but when you went into detail about the true meaning and the high status implications of that word, well lets just say, I want to be a bitch!
The thing I enjoyed the most was him crawling to her, begging her. I'm a firm believe that to achieve anything of power, salvation, wisdom and what have you, you must be humbled. I think that's probably why Sess' father was so powerful because he knew humility and excepted its knowledge giving power.
Great stuff, really. I am sad to see the story end, but I do believe that it was an exceptionally wonderful and well-written tale. Pat yourself on the back and keep up the great writing! I look forward to the next chapter and sequal.
P.S. - "The Mating Game" is also an extremely cute 1950s movie with Debbie Reynolds and Tony Randal. Yea, I'm a sap, but you can't deny good old movies! *wink*

I don't know why the song by KC & the Sunshine, 'That's the Way I Like It' popped up in my head...but it's appropriate.
By the way, I like how thorough you are with your story.
I like stories with details, to me, it gives them more depth.
By the way, do you think Sesshoumaru will TRY to be understanding of where Inuyasha is coming from when it comes to human females...and see eye-to-eye with him or try to at some point.

I really enjoyed this story. So sad it is coming to the end. With Lord of the Norominoming to visit Sess they should
have alot in common mating with a human. I hope that you have another story beside the sequel in the mix. I wonder
with your degree in short stories, I wonder if you can make a story out of this idea. Here is a Rin/Sess story with a twist.
I read some stories in which Sess father betrays Sess's mother with Inuyasha's mother. What if Sess does the same thing
to his mate but the other women turns out to be Rin. Here is the twist, Rin is mad tod to one of the villagers after she if
forced to leave Sesshoumaru because he has mated to a demoness (so she can carry on the demon bloodline). Sess finds
Rin in a few personal situations with her husband only wishing it was himself. Lots of angst/romance/betrayal.
Just an idea or something similar to it. Please tell me if it is something to consider or past on to another author. Well,
I am very much looking forward to read the next chapter as well as other stories in the works. Thanks
