I see one problem with your story... YOU'RE TOO DAMN GOOD!!!!!!!! hehe Well, I was the girl who e-mailed you once AFF went down begging to read more of your story. I wanted to wait until AFF came back up to comment, and by that time you had finished the story. You are an excellent writer, and I hope that one day you will be able to make a living off of your work. I remained impressed throughout the whole story with the detail you went into as well as the accuracy you maintained. Additionally, most fan fics have the tendency to faulter as the end approaches, which is completely untrue for your story. The ending was satifying and quiet frankly excellent. I loved how well deped ped your characters were as well. I would like to encourage you however possible to try to seriously consider selling some of your works. The length is appropate for a novel, and your writing highly qualifies. I will be reading more of your stories here in the very, very close future, and I am highly anticipating the sequel to this story. Good luck in the future, and thank you for writing such an excellent story.

Your writing is fantastic. Are you a professional novelist with a crush on InuYasha? Because if you are, I would not be surprised in the least. I want to tell you that I appreciate all of the research that obviously went into this story. I felt like I learned a lot while I read it. I especially enjoyed the Taoist references, I'd never heard of that before and it's enjoyable. Also, I liked the author notes, you were always very considerate, even anticipating some touchy overzealous Christians in the last chapter. I thank you for those courtesies as well, you are amazing and I respect this piece of work highly. It updated regualarly enough for me, and the chapters were formidable in length. The way to italized words to stress your point really hit me. It was powerful writing.
Now, as a piece of InuYasha fanfiction it was even better. The characters were so real, almoske tke this is exactly what Takahashi-san has in mind for the futures of the characters. I loved this story, (not to mention See/Rin fics are my favourite).
I'm just singing your praises up and down the street here. I know a good review should also point out things that you could do to make things better, but I can't think of anything. The descriptions were long, but only those who can't truely appreciate this piece would be annoyed by that. Your descriptions went beyond what things looked like, you brought in the characters' reactions to things, their emotional attatchments, brought up moments from the past to remind the reader WHY those things are so significant. You've taken these 26 letters of the alphabet and worked magic with them. I can hardly wait for the sequel.
In short: Good Job.

I am throughly amazed with this last chapter and story. The amount of knowledge in this chapter was absolutely amazing. As a Catholic christian, I completely agree with you on the crisades; a big part of the early corruption in the Church. For a minute there, I felt bad for being Catholic, but then had to remind myself that those people were evil, land and power hungry people, who were christians by name only and who shamed the true believers of the faith.
I loved when Rin surpassed Sumida and got called a "god" instead of "master". How fun is that?! There was soooooo much growing, learning, self-discovery, and love in Rin's character during this whole story. It was beautiful to read.
The story behind Sesshomaru's parents and grandparents was fabulous; it made perfect sense, was consistant, intelligent, and ran ever so smoothly. I enjoyed that deeply.
The best part might have been the restoration of Sess' arm. Both, together, were now COMPLETELY complete. *sigh* The hug he gave herlly lly touched my heart. Good job. Also, thin pin pups, that's beautiful.
I am excited for your new story! Keep up the great work as always and enjoy life. You created one hell of a story. Bravo, Miss TheMaven!!!
