What a wonderful fic! I love how you kept Sesshoumaru and Rin in character. I love how Sesshoumaru is still emotionally withdrawn, and not suddenly all psychotically emotional like in most fics and suddenly WAFFy and uttering sweet aiiiishiiiteruuuus. Your development of Rin's character is superb. From the beginning to how she is anxious to leave the castle, and to the parts where she wants to be with Sesshoumaru and loves him, but contains a lot of nervousness, to her complete understanding of his character and reading his emotions. Great job.

Oh, that was beautiful. I really liked how Rin believed up until the very last moment that Sesshomaru only wanted one thing from her. The fact that she was willing to give the rest of her life to pleasing him with no reward of her own.
