Slow start, but its starting to get there. Feels like you have unnecessary scenes. Each scene should help move the plot along and let us know about the character. Some of the scenes, though somewhat funny didn't seem to accomplish much. PS I can tell you don't travel allot. Take it from a veteran international traveler. (Your passport gets stamped when you arrive at custums [ver ver you spell that word])

Ever been to Rome?? Just wonderin...I was there once on a vacation trip...their ice cream is unbelievably good!!
