Inu's statement WAS funny. I assume Saraku doesn't like her brother because she thinks HE'S the heir to the Western Lands, now. She probably doesn't like the idea of being replaced. She's been her father's favorite for so long, it's only natural that a little sibling rivalry spring up. And then there's the matter of Seto's appearance versus Saraku's appearance . . . Yeah, I can imagine quite a few brotherly/sisterly conflicts rising up between the two of them.

As for not getting more reviews on ff.net, have you tried using the new character filter they installed? Now, you can search for a story based on its pairings. Perhaps, if people knew your fic was a Sess/Rin pairing, they'd be more inclined to read and review. I went back and edited all my old fics to include the character filter.

Poor Saraku, she is jealous of her new sibiling because she feels that the child will be stronger and have less 'defects' or be more perfect then she
is. Those things that the villagers said about her and her mother and now the new sibiling just confirm her feelings. How will
Sess oveme tme that? He never went through what she is going through because he is a full demon. Its bad enough that demons
said that her blood is dirt and that she is weak because of it, but to have an actual physical effect to confirm what they said
to her it must be torture for her. Oh please update soon.

Well, I don't know if this is too obvious, but I'd have to say it is because he would end up being the Lord of the Western Lands even though she is older. Her shoulder is pretty much weighed down with chips right now: Hanyond and as we just read, "weird" for a hanyou) and a girl. And before the child was even born she already had something taken from her to be given to him--even though it was with the best of intentions. I loved Inuyasha's, "It’s not my fault the kid attacks after every little thing!" comment. Hmmm...pot calling the kettle black much? As always, I enjoyed your latest chapter.

I think that Sess words about his daughter will come to haunt him. I referring to the quote he stated about his
daughter (her pride which she inherit from him will be her downfall). I think those words will come back
to haunt and hurt SesshoumaIts Its a good think that Inuyasha will be there for his children as well as
Sess being there for Inuyasha's pups. I think if something bad happens to Saraku, I think that Sess can make
up for it by being there for Inuyasha's daughter. Smartest thing that Sess did by calling truce. Please update
soon.

I don't know about anybody else but it sounds like Sesshoumaru to me. Granted the only difference is he's keeping his anger in check..somewhat, thankfully due to the fact HE has a human for a mate & hanyou daughter.

Now if Inuyasha can think before he speaks, things can go a little smoother, which brings up this...I think Inuyasha is in character too.

Also, is it just me or am I seeing a common pattern with Saraku & her yet to-be-born sibling and Sesshoumaru & Inuyasha regarding weapons?

I just hope Sesshoumaru can talk some sense into her and tell her how FOOLISH pursuing a weapon that is not meant to be yours is...

Oh Yeah, I forgot I think Saraku & Makato[?] definitely need to meet, not only do they have the same questions but they can help be each other's support.

I'm not feeling any big diconnect from Seoumaoumaru's personality. I think the biggest difference is just watching him through new eyes since we had been watching the story unfold from Rin's point of view or his own for the bulk of the story. I think you are doing a really good job handling the newly introduced series characters as well. Everyone feels 'right' to me. Also, I enjoy your created characters. My head is already full of predictions as to where this story is heading. :)
