Hmmm....
It's nice to read this pairing without it being a rape fic. This pairing is growing on me, I think.
I was a little thrown by his, Yasha's, hating one of his children. I mean, this is a part of someone you lost. You'd usually try to hold on to them with teeth and nails. But I read all of the chapter, so it's understood. The little one that's just like him, that was adorable. You can just see the hard time Yasha's gonna have with that one.
These two, K/I, are usually enemies (why over dumbass Kagome I don't know), but it was nice to see that maturity between them. Especially during a crisis. I'm trying to figure out why she's dead and what/whom Yasha's running from. I won't put my guesses because they'd probably be soooooo off the mark. :P
As far as the technicalities of the story, I don't pay as much attention to misspellings so much. But this story seems thought out and it reads very well. It flows nicely. I don't have to stop and let things sink in or think it through to make sure I understood how it's written. I've gotten PLENTY of headaches with others' stories that make things difficult that shouldn't be.
So, nice plot, cuteness abound, nice read, can't wait for the next chapter. Good job.

I like this chapter more than the other three. I guess kagome died in childbirth, but that doesn't explain the wounds... I hope your muse gives you some inspiration soon so we can have another chapter with some explanation and a little more fluff. The fluff in this chapter was fun!

This fic is so wonderfully original and well written. Even though the chapters are short, they hold a lot of emotions and feelings in a conscisely descriptive manner. Koga and Inuyasha are in complete character which, in and of itself, makes the story a joy to read. I wonder if Kagome died during childbirth since you said they left the night the baby was born. Maybe they were attacked when Kag was giving birth and he couldn't help her in time. Snowfall was correct when she said it was a compliment to your writing they we are mulling over what the next chapter could hold about what's happened. Also, I really look forward to the lemon between Koga and Inuyasha ^_~ I think Inuyasha needs someone to hold him and take care of him for a change. I also wonder if Inu will get pregnant or not. It doesn't matter to me one way or another. I just can't stop thinking about what's going to happen next. This really is such a refreshing and original plot.
I truly hope that you continue this fic. I'm the queen of taking forever to update so I won't pressure you about updating soon. We all have real lives to live and, in my case, write when inspired or my family allows me the time, lol.

Awww... ^.^ You guys are just too kind. You all really make me wanna write more on this story. And actually, I have the next part in the works. Yay! Erm... And sorry about the short chapters. ^^;; I usually write 3 pages and am good to go. But the next part will be longer.

Oh, this is nice. Very, very nice. I am enjoying it. Well written. I love the fact that there weren't any 'flashbacks'. I believe that Kouga would take Inuyasha in under these particular circumstances. And it is sweet that his softer side is getting a bit of exposure. I haven't read much Kouga/Inu, but this seems original to me. I hope that Kagome isn't the 'evil bitch of the west' in this one, even if she is dead. I am curious, as most of your readers probably are, about whether or not Inuyasha still wears the subjugation beads. No pressure; I'm sure you'll get to it. But, it is as compliment that you have me mulling over what the next chapter could hold.
Great job and I look forward to the next chapter.

YEAH!!!!!!! An update! I've waited so long!!!!!! Glad to see u didnt give up on this story! I'm also happy to see the chapters are getting longer. I normaly hate stories with deaths in them, but it works so well in this story I cant hate it at all. I cant wait for an update. And I beg u to never leave this story up in the air this long again. I had almost givin up on the hope of u updating, and had almost cryed!!!! How about u leave a little note so we know the story is still going? PLEASE!!!??? FYI Your getting even better at writing YAOI from what I'm reading. Keep up the great writing!
