The review from Anon, which is obviously not only not a review, but someone who is not truly reading this story, was not only uncalled for, it was intended to hurt feelings for no reason. If you can't either write a respectable review on a story that you have taken the time to actually read, or be constructive in your critizism, then you should not post a review at all. What goes into the story, is strictly up to the creativity of the author, and whether or not he or she choses to take some of the suggestions of their readers. If you do not like the content of a story, then do not read it. Dirty Life is a good fic, and the author had done a lot to keep the story consistant and interesting. A lot of work has gone into it, and no one has the right to be vendictive because they do not care for the content. As the disclaimers all point out, only one person owns the rights to the Inuyasha characters. This disclaimer also holds true for the reviewers.

Just so you know, I'm still here cheering you on... it's all up to you... you're the writer (or typist)!!! By the way, don't listen to those dweebs, it's your fanfic and you decide what happens (and what doesn't happen). Thank you sooo much for sharing it with us... it has most of us impatient for an update....
Oh... and by the way, I totally side you on that Kikyo and Inuyasha issue... even though I love Kikyo dearly, this is, as you stated, a Kagome/Inuyasha pairing and you have every right to make theirs the best lemon in the story....
Well, lots of encouragement!!!

i've always enjoyed this story, like some weird sicko. but tonight, you have heightened my sense of struggle and played with my emotions. i couldn't believe what i read and i sure do hope inuyasha and kagome get together in the park. i hope he can get away from kikyo and hang out with her. and poor miroku. miroku, while not one of my favorite characters, is in such an awful hellish time right now. i hope to kami-sama that he can get away. i mean, as much as i am looking forward to inu/kag-ness, i want him to be okay. i can't wait for the next chapter and i sure do hope you update soon!

Poor Miroku, he does not deserve that. I hope that his suffering will end soon as well as Inuyasha's and Rin.
I hope that Rin does not be with Sess since she is so young. When she gets older maybe. Update soon.

Wow, you really hate Miroku, don't you? Poor guy. Don't let anyone tell you how to write your story. If they don't like it, no one is forcing them to read it. Rest assured, you have plenty of satisfied readers who can't wait to see where YOU are taking the story. Keep it up! :-)

I don't remember anything about Naraku doing it with anyone to be honest with you. This is one of the stories I have on my stories list and look for every chance I can. Don't worry too much about someone's bad review. I understand as an author my self that we won't be able to please everyone. I usually just remove reviews that are stupid or really bashing. I hope you get your insparation back soon. I can't wait to see where things go.

Here is a bit of advice. Only cowards write criticisms in any aspect of life under the name "anon" or "anonymous". In fact, I never read anonymous notes or letters because their sole purpose is to cause strife. Why would you let someone without a name stir you up so badly? If they had a real opinion, they would have left a name or an email. I do not agree with gay relationships or gay sex, however, child prostitution is a reality that needs to be stopped. You have never made any of those "lemons" even mildly pleasant. I am glad you are writing about how painful and dirty that existence is. Your story makes me wish that I had resources available to help the children that are out there. Keep writing, and I would love to read how these characters will find happiness again by leaving this life forever behind. Nice work!

Read chapter 20. Good, as always, although you're still not going into the kind of detail about the sex acts happening between IY & Kikyo. It's like this story is going from NC-17 to PG-13, which wouldn't matter if the story had started out as PG-13. The story feels like it's loosing its edge. Especially since Kikyo appears to be one of the main "villains". It would be nice to find out what's going through her head while she's enjoying Inu's "attributes", for example. Of course, if you have something planned, this review is a mute point. Otherwise, consider this my somewhat desperate plea for an extensive...lemon, I think the word is...between these two. Thanks.
