okay, i have to say i love the fact that you make kouga a sympathetic character. it'd be so easy to make him despisable but here, he's just great!

I think this was a very good chapter despite what you said. Also I know what you mean by writers block...I just passed through a 4 month dry spell myself. >.< I hope that never happens again! Anyways back to the chappy...It was lighter compared to the previous 2 chapters, if I recall correctly. Lightness is needed now and then. The only thing that irritated me ( and I'm sure you had nothing to do with it more like the recent problems with Aff.net's servers ) was the strange symbols that worked its way into this chapter and throughout the fic. Luckily it wasn't so garbled that I couldn't read it at all. Anyhoo...I hope your block is cleared soon as I didn't mind the long wait for this chapter.

You know, this is a really good story. Even the style is good. Only thing is, its seems to progress too slowly. I'm just a poor reader who wants to help :)

What a wonderfully written chapter. The Miroku - Sango fluff was really quite sweet.

I'll admit, I first became very excited that the firelight kisses might be shared b/w Inu-Kag - I'm a totally overzealous fan of that couple. But, sigh, it's TOO soon for that after such trauma involving resurrected Hojo...right? Right, aw shucks.

I know things are going to be dark for a while for kagome...but I hope that she doesn't try to push Inu away and that Inu can control his temper with her for a bit....I really can't wait for something to happen between them...there's such sexual tension..

Your Hojo version 2.0 was really evil! And I agree, it makes sense given that he'd be lacking the spiritual training and discipline that Kikyou had to temper even a bit of the pain and confusion of his death. But I'm glad you made him full of malice...it makes it easier to deal with him in a sense. Part of Inuyasha's problem with kikyo 2.0 is the fact that you can't tell if she really is trying to help or hurt the cause or a specific person. She has her own motives for doing things...and while it's convenient to hate her for interfering with Inu & Kag's romance...in truth she's an ambiguous sorta character. But Hojo on the other hand....he's Naraku's minion for sure.

Hmmm....what if Hojo 2.0 and Kikyo 2.0 got together? What a truly evil couple that would make. Wow, so Kagome is going to have tons of issues over what's just happened - which is totally understandable.

I mean, she's undeniably mutually attracted to Inuyasha but the man she was going to marry in her oime ime was recently murdered because of her. And while it's not her fault that he's dead - and she had no idea that she had any powers- Naraku just rubbed salt in all of the wounds by "resurrecting" him.

I can't wait for the update b/c I really want to see how Inuyasha and kagome react to what just happened. This will definitely effect things between them., and definitely slow down the physical side of their relationship.=...but I can't see Kagome pulling away from Inuyasha - I think she needs him...her soul needs him too much for her to try avoiding him. She obviously feels safe and comforted by his presence. And she's going to need a lot of comforting now....
