Could the distraction of language be from neanderthals? As for the splash, the trees are too far from the river for a drop from above attack. Can't be quicksand, that wouldn't explain a splash. Maybe a snake, or a spear?

Just have to say I'm loving the story. I've liked all your other ones as well. As for covering the dinos, lightly please.

I really like your stories. My only suggestion; get a beta reader. Everything else is good. Your details and your style is great. Not only thut yut your well versed with japanese culture and history. I actually got that blacken teeth part and cracked a grin. :) Anyway as for the question. I think a paragraph of explanation would suffice. Nothing more, nothing less. I eagerly wait for more!

WORTH the WAIT FOR YOUR UPDATES! Thanks for answering my question, too. Really enjoying your *STARGATE* world hopping idea as a story base. Can't help but second guess that there's more to Sessh's thinking about Kagome's cleanliness. It's a reasonable request, but also a convenient excuse, will it lend to undoing his self-control? By the way, next time I go river rafting, I'll be SURE to NOT use CLEAR plastic waterproof bags, incase someone gets any curious ideas ,*smirks*, thanks.

On the dinosaur topic, go more on the lighter side, like you said you planned to. Sounds just fine.

Wow, a very good story with a very nice plot. I'm glad that you're minimizing the lemons ^_^ for some reason, I think that when people only care about lemons and sex scenes, it kind of destroys the point of the story. I can't wait l yol your next chappie. Update Soon!

-san is equal to Mr. Ms. or sir
-sama is equal to lord or lady
-dono means basically the same as sama it's just much more archaic and very poliet.
-chan is used for close female friends and small children.
-kun is used for close male friends nearly exclusively.

I do agree Sesshoumaru would not like being called Sesshoumaru-chan nor Sesshoumaru-kun
