My eyes burn. There's far too much truth in that last paragraph. It was such a startling end to this story that I couldn't help but start sobbing. People don't understand what that kind of thing is like unless they've been there. Your writing is wonderful. Thank you for sharing it.

Strange, but I liked it.
I have never though of Naraku like that, but this was very well written thi think that the miko was Kagome. Kikiyo would never cry or beg for Naraku to release her. It's not her style.
Nor would she wait for Inuyasha to save her.
