This is a very good story. I only review ones that are very special due to my shy nature so your story is already held in high esteem. I think you drew out the whole torture thing a bit too much. Or maybe you could have portrayed more of Rin's internal distress. I don't know, it seemed a bit monotonous and since torture is such a painful subject you need to make sure it is presented in a very interesting manner so that your readers do not shy away from it. I hope that this constructive criticism helps. I really like how you portrayed Seeshomaru and Rin's relationship, as more of a story of trauma and acceptance than happiness and open affection. I think that that's closer to the mood of their relationship in the story, though it is no where near exactly the same. You did a really good job and I love this fic. It's original without all of those common plot lines and jealousy circles. What else can I say? You rock.
PS if the sequel isn't already out it should be out soon or I'll send my army of flying monkeys with fez hats after you! (like in the Wizard of Oz)

Now it's time for the sequel right? You know, everytime I read chapter 16 I always feel the same way I felt reading it the first time. A masterpiece I tell you. You really should be proud of yourself, you couldn't drag me into reading most fanfiction much less following it religiously. I was trying to read from one of my good friends the other day (and a celebrated author) but I'm spoiled on your work and couldn't get past the first chapter. Sequel Sequel Sequel!

this is such a great story its been such a long time since i have read something so good as this fic. even made me want to cry at a certain point lol. I loved everybodys personality in this fic it wasent too ooc even thogh everybody had to change somewhat in a situation similar to this, it was still good. Im reeeally looking forward to your sequel really i am ill be cheking regularly to see if youv started. i hope the sequel starts where you leaft off :P well thats all i wanted to say you did a really good job belive me i onley review really good fics. keep it up!! ^_^

Overall, a great story! However, the ending seems a little abrupt and concentrated more on Inu/Rin development rather than Sess/Rin which were the central figures. I thought it would be more dramatic and rather it was a little dry. I hope you are planning to post a continuation to take the Sess/Rin relationship to the next level now that the acceptance has been made by Rin and a pseudo peace exists between the two. Perhaps you delve into the sequel to show that as with every relationship, you have to take the good with the bad and work hard to make it a success.

Great story! I'm really happy with the ending .. a happy ending :) I can't wait to read the sequel!
